Family Meal Table is a directory of family-size and holiday takeout meals in Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect when you use familymealtable.com, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell it, and we don't run ads or trackers.
What we collect
Information you send us through a form. Our site has two forms: a restaurant inquiry form (restaurant name, your name, email, optional phone, city, and meal details) and a meal suggestion form (restaurant name, city, a description of the meal, an optional link, and your optional email). Submissions are processed by our form provider, Web3Forms, and delivered to our email inbox. We see exactly what you typed — nothing more.
Email you send us. If you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and, for restaurants, keep their listing accurate.
Basic server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — such as the page visited, the time, browser type, and IP address. We use these logs only to keep the site running and to understand, in aggregate, whether it's working.
Aggregate, cookieless analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you.
What we don't collect
No user accounts, usernames, or passwords. No payments — we don't sell anything and never see your card details; when you order a meal, you order from the restaurant, on their site. No advertising trackers, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.
How long we keep form submissions
Form submissions and emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as they're useful for running the directory — for a restaurant listing, generally while the listing is live and for a reasonable period afterward so we can follow up on corrections. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, email us and we'll remove it.
Links to other sites
Every listing links out to the restaurant's own website or ordering page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover them.
